About The Academy

We offer 1-2-1 support and recognise different kinds of learning styles and your own experience and skills. Our classes are small, and offer career paths to higher education - giving all of our students the chance to build a successful future in the modern world.
The Apprenticeships
During the course of your Apprenticeship, you will be paid as a minimum, the Apprenticeship NMW of £2.73 per hour, and upon completion of your training, you will have a recognised professional qualification. The Hairdressing industry is fun, creative and busy as well as demanding. The work can sometimes be challenging but the rewards will be worth the effort; come to Shears Academy and our talented, friendly educators will develop your artistic flair, and with a willingness to work hard, you can go all the way to the top in this high fashion profession!
